What Is A Private Beach And Are There Any Private Beaches In India?

A private beach is mostly associated with private owners, resorts, or hotels. It is usually accessible to the resort guests or the owner, as opposed to the public beaches, which are the general beaches you find along a coastline.

How does a private beach work?

Private beaches are separated by the property owner, and no tourists or the general public are allowed in the space except the ones who have gained access.

As the beach is privately owned, a boundary is set between public and private beaches at the mean high tide line.

For instance, the dry sandy beach is private, whereas, the wet intertidal area is public and open to anyone. Private beaches give a sense of privacy and liberty to enjoy on vacation.

Zuri white sands in south goa are one of the most popular resorts in Goa, India, with its private beach which is a special attraction for tourists around the world who visit Goa annually.
